Update as of 9/27:

Some of us are meeting Sunday, October 2nd at 10:00 am at Lorenzos Restaurant at the Hilton Garden Inn for an informal Sunday breakfast. The cost is $14.95 plus tax and gratuity (standard tip for a group is 18% to 22%.) They stop serving breakfast at 11:00 am.  FYI: They offer a more elaborate and expensive brunch at 12 noon.

We will be taking a count at the reunion of those who wish to attend at 10:00 am.  I have been in touch with the restaurant manager and will give her the tentative count.  Therefore, at this point please do not call the restaurant to make a reservation.

Hi All!  

FYI...I spoke to the manager of the Hilton Garden Inn "Lorenzo's Restaurant" to inquire about having breakfast there on Sunday, October 2nd (say 10:00 am so people who are traveling can get on the road.)  They have a Sunday Breakfast Buffet for $14.95 plus tax and gratuity.  Advance notice is requested.  Very fair.  However, I will not be making a group reservation because I cannot guarantee how many will show up.  Also, they would put the charge for all the meals on one check for a group.  It could be stessful to collect from more than one table (I'm a stress free person!) We concluded that a good option would be for each person to make their own reservation (or reserve for yourself and a few of your friends).  If you are interested in going please call the restaurant a few days in advance at 718-477-2400  to give them your name and the number in your party.  

It's early enough to consider other options.  I'd appreciate your thoughts.  Otherwise, I'll send a reminder email & hope to see you at an informal & fun breakfast!  Thank you.

The price for the Reunion Dinner/Dance is $100/110 per person (NYC prices)!

Deed is done, we have booked our tickets and purchased our airplane tickets.  So looking forward to being on Staten Island.  It has been far too long since our last visit.  Please let us know if you are also planning to spend the night and where.  Love to get together with any of you during the day before the dinner or on Sunday morning as well.  Hopefully, I can get to show Paul the interior of Curtis!!!
